G3ict Issues New Report on Global Accessibility Policy Progress

The Global Initiative for Inclusive ICT (G3ict) has released another comprehensive report outlining where we are, planet-wide, in making progress towards full inclusion of people with disabilities in ICT. Researched and written in collaboration with Disabled People's International (DPI), the report uses the framework of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) to explain what the necessary policy and technological advances are, and where 76 countries are in terms of reaching those goals. A highly readable mix of policy narrative and technological detail, the report does an excellent job of bringing new people up to speed, while informing experienced followers of the pace of progress and trends in implementation. Not to be missed!
